This is DOF's new ship
Skandi Hawk delivered today.
DOF Rederi II AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of DOF ASA, has today taken delivery of Skandi Hawk from Cochin Shipyard in India.
The vessel is a combined CSV/PSV of STX PSV 09 CD design and the second vessel in a series of two vessels from the same yard, according to a press release from DOF.
Main specification of the vessel is as follows:
- Length overall 88.1 m
- Breadth moulded 19.0 m
- Accommodation 62 persons
In addition the vessel will be equipped with a 60 tons crane and two ROV's.
The vessel is committed on a 1 yr contract with DOF Subsea Asia.
Pollution levels from Norske Shell's Ormen Lange facility have been up to nine times higher than permitted each year since 2008.
Statoil pays NOK 2.4bn to cancel the contract with the Stena Carron drillship in Angola. The Angola adventure has been a disappointment so far.
